Its been a long time I have posted about any DIY projects here which I have been doing around the house.
Last week I have tackled couple of projects which have been pending for so long such as
1. Cardboard makeover for displaying artwork / pictures
2. Vase makeover
3. Tray makeover
4. Finishing touches to the puja mandap.
Today its about the Tray makeover, will post the rest of them soon(Each needs their own post).
In early May I went to model house furniture sale hosted by our builder thinking i could hold of huge furnitures/ home decor which I am in dire need. But when I reached there most of the items got already sold. So instead of being sad I went through the left over items to see which I can make use for the home. This tray caught my eye and its just 3$. Score and a great deal. Instantly I knew what I need to do with this.
We have 2 leather couches and no place to store the remote controllers for all the electronics. They get lost some times on the couch too and its a constant battle to find them daily.
This tray is perfect but i want to revamp it and make it look more beautiful and pretty. Thats when I saw this post about tray makeover and knew what I had to do.
I bought a semi gloss white spray paint and sprayed the tray. I let it dry for few hours until I can go on with the project. I went to the local Lowes and got a acrylic sheet cut to size as of the tray.
I placed it on an end table. It has a cute tissue box, a diy vase (post soon) and obviously the remotes.
So how do you like my tray makeover??
