Good Morning to you! Happy Cinco De Mayo! How was your weekend?We had a great one spending time with the family and friends and the weather was great. Its in upper 80’s perfect for shorts and tank tops. I am linking up this post to MIMM hosted by Katie.
Weekend Highlights : Saturday morning I did Zumba for 90 mins. It was organized to collect donations and bring awareness for Children’s Cancer Research. The temps are in upper 70’s and it was great and got a great workout.
Later in the evening, we attended a housewarming party and a birthday party which was great with lots of great food and chatting with friends.
Sunday was a lazy day just routine chores around the house, cleaning the backyard, we planted an apple tree and also finished some new flower baskets. New sprouts are emerging in the veggie garden. I was so sore from Zumba workout, so did no workout but walked around the neighborhood.
How are you doing with the Get Movin’ Challenge. I am doing good, as the weather is great currently, we are going on lots of walks around the neighborhood and also exploring new trails.
Weekly Meal Plan: Its been couple of weeks I did meal planning for the week. I always stare at the refrigerator thinking what to prepare for lunch/ dinner which is so frustrating some times. So here I am back to meal planning again.
Monday : Cabbage curry, broken wheat / Roti, Tofu Vegetable Jalfrezi
Tuesday : Roti , Tofu Vegetable Jalfrezi / Quinoa Eggplant Fried Rice
Wednesday : Chayote Kootu , Brown rice / Leftovers
Thursday : Beans Tomato Curry , Broken Wheat / Methi Paratha
Friday : Tomato Biryani / Leftovers
