I have blogged couple of months back about WIAW ( What I Ate Wednesday). It’s a weekly link up by Jenn of Peas and Crayons. I often forget to take pictures of my whole eats of Tuesday and mostly remember by night. So yesterday morning I somehow got reminded about WIAW and decided to click pictures of all my eats.
An unpictured cup of coffee, almond butter toast. I am loving the Justin’s Classic Almond Butter. This breakfast almost kept me full till my lunch hour.
I made broken wheat ( dahlia) and anapakaya curry ( bottle gourd curry). I love this curry so had more than I normally eat which kept me full till 3 pm.
I love the Chobani flip yogurt and they are perfect for mid afternoon snack. For today’s snack I had the blueberry power flip with non fat yogurt. chia seeds, hemp seeds and walnuts. This is yummy and my favorite.
Post workout Snack
Soon after I came home, I changed to workout clothes and did a 30 minute interval training on the elliptical and some abs workout. To fuel up my body I had a corepower vanilla protein shake. This stuff is so damn good.
I won the giveaway by Corepower and Annette which included a yoga mat, stability ball, towel, 3 varieties of corepower shakes, a gym bag and a water bottle. I have been using these for my workouts at home.
I was so tired after the workout so just made an easy veggie quinoa bowl. It has chickpeas(garbanzo beans), green and orange peppers, avocado, broccoli and quinoa.
I always like to eat something sweet after my meal. Over the weekend I made some Apple Cobbler Cake and had leftovers, so perfect snack for my sweet tooth.
Have you ever tried the Core power shakes ?? or the Justin’s nut butter?? I had tried only the Vanilla shake of Core power and its pretty good. I love the almond butter, but also likes the chocolate hazelnut butter.
