The Larabars have about 190 calories and these energy bars have just 117 calories per square. Hope you make them and enjoy it too.
1 cup almonds (or any nuts)
1 cup raisins (any dried fruit)
1 cup pitted dates
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp flax seed
1 tsp cinnamon
In a blender place all the ingredients and pulse for a minute. Next blend them until it forms a dough.
Take the dough on a clear wrap and make a square. Cover it with the clear wrap and refrigerate for couple of hours or overnight.
Remove it and cut into equal squares.
I have wrapped all the squares in plastic wrap and placed in a tight container and refrigerated them.
You can try any combination for these bars. I am thinking to try almond-cherry and almond-apricot next time.
